Itinerary package PC006  :   Imperial Tours - Lima Cusco

Day 1:  ARRIVAL IN LIMA

Transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour.

Day 2:  LIMA  - CUSCO

Transfer to airport and flight to Cusco. Afternoon visit to the colonial and Inca attractions of Cusco, including Koricancha, Temple of the Sun and the San Blas district, famous for its crafts. Visit to the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Complex (Q'enko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay).

Day 3 : SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

Pisac Indian Market and Ollantaytambo Fortress (Tue, Thu, Sun). 

Breakfast at your hotel. Morning departure for a drive through the fertile countryside to the colonial village of Pisac. During your visit to the bustling marketplace, you will have the opportunity to bargain with the inhabitants for many different types of Peruvian handicrafts and jewelry. After lunch the tour continues to the village of Ollantaytambo for a visit to its impressive Inca fortress. This tour can also be provided the same day of your arrival in Cusco. (B,L)

Day 4 : MACHU PICCHU INCA CITADEL

Breakfast at your hotel. Full-day excursion to Machu Picchu. Early start for a train ride through the Sacred Valley of Urubamba to the "Lost City of the Incas," Machu Picchu. Perched 8,200 feet above sea level and hidden by mountains and semi-tropical jungles for 400 years, it was discovered by Hiram Bingham of Yale University in 1911. Guided tour of the citadel upon arrival. All transfers are included. Lunch in Machu Picchu. (B,L).

Day 5 : CUSCO 

Free day for shopping and other alternative tours (rafting, horseback riding, biking).

Day 6 : CUSCO - LIMA 

Early morning transfer to Cusco airport for our flight to Lima. Our tour through historic and modern Lima will take us to the Cathedral, San Francisco church and the Gold Museum. Transfer to the airport.
