INITIATIONS IN THE JUNGLE OF PUERTO MALDONADO
These initiations consist of fasting, psychological preparation and conversations of questions and answers with the Master in the days after the ceremonies. The Master's answers are never philosophical, technological or academic. This process is often hard or strong, but like that one slowly develops the mind and achieves a greater profundity of knowledge. Its purpose is to help people to face their own future and to prepare the human being for the future of the humanity, which nowadays is in total unbalance and confusion. Many people go by themselves to inns and resorts in Puerto Maldonado where San Pedro and Ayahuasca ceremonies are offered, but the persons who are in charge of these ceremonies are at the most beginners and usually the owners of such places are the ones that earn money from it. What is described here is not a tour of ceremonies, but an initiation with certain rules and procedures. The time of this initiation varies (12 days, 15 days, 20 days, 1 month...), usually with interdiary ceremonies. The accommodation is in tents. In the days between the ceremonies, people participating eat food prepared in the same place. For those who want, there are also walks through untouched jungle and visits to the town of Puerto Maldonado.
